About

Hi there and thanks for visiting my page!

My name is Thomas, and I created this website to share my personal experience of woodworking for anyone who’s just starting or needs a bit of guidance.

For those who are interested, I am a construction worker by trade. Believe it or not, working in construction had been a childhood dream of mine ever since my dad and his brother started doing renovations on our house. It was a kind of a hobby for them: something they only did on weekends and days off, so the renovations dragged on for years and years. I started helping out with small errands when I was about 9, and by the time I was 15, I could saw and sand and drill with the best of them. And there was very little doubt in my mind that this was something I wanted to do professionally.

Fast forward to 20 odd years later, and here I am, doing the job I love and writing about it. What more could you want?

The idea behind this blog belongs to a friend of mine, Jake. He needed to purchase a reciprocating saw, so he asked me for tips. Somehow I ended up writing a pages-long guide, and Jake insisted that I needed to share it with more people. I don’t mind sharing the things I know, especially if they can help someone else, and writing has always been a hobby of mine, so I thought, why not?

My posts are meant to help enthusiasts and professionals alike. Now, I don’t claim to be the best expert there is, but I do have a bit of experience in varying fields of construction work – experience which I’m willing to share.

By the way, everything I write about on this blog has been personally tested by yours truly. Whether it is a tool, a technique or a useful trick, I’ve tried it, and I liked it enough to recommend it confidently. No one is paying me for reviews, and if they did, my review would still have been sincere.

So, welcome to my blog, and feel free to let me know if what I’m doing helps you in your projects!
